1988-1996 studied flute at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin, diploma in Instrumental Education in 1994, diploma in Flute Performance in 1996.
1992-1993 studied in New York: flute (with Robert Dick), electroacoustic music (Manhattan School of Music) and studio technique (New School of Social Research)
1993-1996 courses at the Electronic Studio of the Technical University Berlin in digital sound processing and algorhythmic composition
2006-2008 Composition Masters Program (Meisterschüler) at the Universität der Künste with Daniel Ott
